OUR STORY
 

​"amazing!" "outstanding" "the future of rock!". WHTS TMRW are a young 5 peice band from the north east of England. Slowly rising to fame this charismatic and quirky band are loved by many. taking rock and grunge inspirations, WHTS TMRW have their own unique sound and aesthetic that mesh well with the energy they bring to the stage . Are you ready to have a new favourite band? 

Meeting in college, WHTS TMRW  formed from a college assignment where the band were asked to be a cover band . As a mutual agreement, the young musicians chose the band Led Zeppelin to cover. The band wore pyjamas on stage and named themselves "Bed Slept In" to cover some Led Zepplins' greatest hits. Bed slept in were quite a hit in the college and many people were familiar with the cover bands work. 

A little further down the line, the band had dreams of working together professionally and creating a group of their own. conversations were had and WHTS TMRW was formed! the young musicians swiftly moved on to writing songs of their own and after hours of rehearsals WHTS TMRW took to the stage to showcase their new original songs. it wasn't long after writing two songs that the band started to gain some interest. The representative from push puzzle records, Ged, saw one of the performances and offered a record contract, which the band, filled with excitement and enthusiasm, were thrilled to take. 

 

In the summer of 2023, WHTS TMRW released their first ever single, 'rock and roll queen'. highlighting the hardships of teenage love and heartbreak, the song has a powerful message and feel, empowering young women to keep moving forward and value themselves no matter what. 

Originally, WHTS TMRW were a six piece band with the members: Megan Hartley, Aaron Middleton, Skye Dixon, Elenor B. Fisher, Harvey Clark and Eric Kell. However at the start of 2024, for undisclosed reasons, Eric Kell was removed from the band and at the beginning of 2025 Aaron was too.Even though Kell and Middleton are no longer in the band they are and will always be credited when it comes to everything they contributed in the bands past.

As of 2025, the bands line up is: Megan Hartley and Elenor B. Fisher on vocals, Harvey Clark on bass, Ewan Savory on guitar and Skye Dixon on drums. 

On the the 05th of July, WHTS TMRW released their newest single 'Quit' featuring the amazing artwork of Tilly Charlton-Matthews used as the album art. The single Quit is a story about a victorian prostitute and her struggles in life, fighting for her rights in the battle of injustice. The song portrays her life set in the 1800's with an obscure and eerie feeling as something just isn't right. The single highlights the harsh history behind public executions, the injustice for queer people and the hardships of being a woman living  in the victorian era.

Due to their growing fan base the band have been honoured to play in many local venues in the north east of England, as well as working with local artists and photographers too. 

WHTS TMRW are always working on new songs and plan to make an album in the near future - with many unreleased songs, the band tend to tease their creations at live performances as many songs are still in the recording process. The talented bunch also plan to continue their university education as well as gigging in every chance they get. so keep your eyes and ears peeled there is so much more in store for you !
